Battlefield Effectiveness Enhanced by Digital Targeting Technology
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is developing a new battlefield targeting system to enhance the effectiveness of the military aircrews, combat controllers, and others to employ guided weapons. DARPA's Persistent Close Air Support (PCAS) program has a digital air-to-ground coordination capability that improves shared situational awareness.
