Funding for National Cybersecurity Office in Question
It appears that the Republicans and Democrats can't agree on how to fund the National Protection and Programs Directorate office. Currently it is part of the Department of Homeland Security. The office is responsible for defending civilian computer networks from hackers and was established under law in 2002 as part of a congressional DHS authorization bill.
