Book Review - Counterstrike: The Untold Story of America's Secret Campaign

Michael Waltz has wrote a comprehensive book review of a recent book by Eric Schmitt and Thom Shanker entitled Counterstrike: The Untold Story of America's Secret Campaign Against Al-Qaeda. The book . . .
" . . . traces the evolution since 9/11 of U.S. counterterrorism strategy within the military, intelligence agencies, and law enforcement, the results of which are now at work in combating al-Qaeda and its affiliates worldwide. Schmitt and Shanker do a thorough job of pulling together all of the bits and pieces of the efforts across the myriad agencies."
The book review can be read on The AFPAK Channel blog of Foreign Policy Magazine here - "Counterstrike".  You can also purchase the book on Amazon.com at the link below.
