Michael Vickers to Head up Pentagon Intelligence Activities
Michael Vickers has been nominated to be the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and should be up for Senate confirmation soon. Vickers was a Special Forces officer before joining the CIA. He played a leading role in the CIA's support of the Afghan Freedom Fighters who fought the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
