In Defense of Afghan Warlords
A writer has presented us with an argument defending the use of warlords or private security firms in our fight against the Taliban in Afghanistan. U.S. Special Forces have historically used local militias and irregular forces to render effects on the battlefield. The Oruzgan Province in Afghanistan is just the latest example of how this tactic is useful to the United States and is the right thing to do.
