80% of Marjah Taken by U.S., Allied, and Afghan Troops
Marjah, a Taliban stronghold that served as a logisitics and supply center, has been taken by U.S., NATO, and Afghan forces. At this point the government forces and their allies control over 80% of the town of 80,000 citizens.
